These delicious Almond Butter Cups are like a cross between a coconut rough and a peanut slab but contain no milk products or sugar. One serve of two pieces delivers 150 nutritious calories and easy to absorb nutrients which will help satisfy your cravings and nourish your body at the same time.
Keep them handy in the freezer for when ever you feel a craving come along.
Recipe makes approximately 16 pieces and one serve is two pieces. Keep frozen until you wish to consume them.
If you do not like desiccated coconut, you can leave that ingredient out.
Follow The Directions

Roughly grind 100g mixed nuts and place into a medium bowl. You can use almonds, cashews or walnuts or a mix of all three.

Mix all other ingredients together with ground nuts until thoroughly combined

Spoon mixture into approximately 16 equal portions into a muffin tray or large ice cube tray

Freeze for at least 30 minutes

Remove from trays and place into a zip lock bag and keep frozen

Take two out of the freezer for a snack and let thaw for around 2 minutes before consuming
