RECOMMENDATION

Kombucha has become very popular in the past few years and is now commercially brewed however, brewing your own kombucha is not difficult to do IF you have a SCOBY. A SCOBY is an alien like looking thing which lives in the vessel you brew your kombucha. SCOBY stands for a Symbiotic Culture Of Bacteria and Yeast. When you brew kombucha, the SCOBY eats the caffeine from the tea and sugar which is added and grows a new layer. Eventually the SCOBY becomes too thick and layers need to be removed. So ask around on your local Facebook community forums if anyone has one available, or you can make your own from scratch. Watch our video HERE on how to do this.

Consume at least 200mls per day, starting with 100mls in the first week. You can mix kombucha with soda water and add stevia if required or just enjoy it by itself.

Kombucha is a delicious, tangy fermented tea drink which improves your gut flora and balances good and bad bacteria in your gut, aiding digestion and boosting your body’s own immune system.
