Asparagus

RECOMMENDATION

Asparagus is a tasty, nutrient dense vegetable that is very versatile and can be used in soups, salads, frittatas or even enjoyed on their own and may help protect against and fight cancers such as bone, breast and lung cancer.

If you are not eating organic asparagus, be sure to wash it well before consumption as they do tend to contain some pesticides on the skin surface. Mix 10% white vinegar and 90 percent warm water and soak for around 10 minutes then rub and rinse.
